Tom was very responsive and ok to work with, Carolina carports who built the building and erects it not so much. You are dealing with Carolina carports after your deposit. It took 18 weeks for my 39x40 building to be put up and that's after me calling Carolina carports many times ( timeline is quite common for carolina carports unfortunately ). It went from 6-8 weeks at order to 8-10 weeks after my pad was complete to being built 18 weeks after continuing to call Carolina carports to get on their schedule. The crew did great work but I paid for 11' wall on my lean too and they ended up only being 10' 6.5" , which means my garage door i had would no longer fit. Do you research on Carolina carports as this is who will be building and erection your building.

Tom is very respectable and owns up to any mistake made. There was a communication problem between him and Carolina Carports but he made it right by giving a full refund. I decided to go with another company because my wait time went from 4-8 weeks to 13-17 weeks. Let's just say it took the wind out of my sail but at least he admitted the problem and gave me a full refund.
No building but Tom was honest and for that he deserves a 5 star rating.

Tom was a big help in the design and installation process. The garage is solid and all the neighbors love the building. Especially the blue color.

The installation team was very professional and had the construction done in 3 days during a rain event here.

Tom was also helpful after the building was erected with some of my follow up requests. I would recommend Tom and Carolina Carports to anyone looking for a strong building to secure their cars, tools or equipment.

Tom is the man. No questions went unanswered. Straight forward and honest. The building was as described, 24x24x12. If you need 15 estimates, just stop- you made it. If it only took one, congratulations. You won’t be disappointed.

Good experience overall. Tom was just like every other review I read. Courteous with very quick responses. The construction crew was professional and quite efficient. 2.5 days for a Long Span Truss 40 x 54 w 2 roll ups, walk thru, 7 windows, and the lift I ordered was 3 hours late, so the crew had to make up for that as well. Solid design and construction. Thank You Tom!

Very easy to work with. Good information source. Has great connection for all the concrete slab work. Overall a good experience.
