Be careful Tom is a great salesman terrible person does not stand behind his companies. There was a price increase rather than dealing with it like a man and informing me the customer he did nothing just kick the can down the road because he got his money. Waited 7 weeks to get an install date but the order was on hold they were waiting for him to do his job inform me about the price increase which wouldn't have been an issue I just want the building. When I made a deposit he told me how terrible Carolina Carports was to use this company "carports anywhere". Now they won't honor the price and he's telling me how great Carolina Carports is what a clown and he will transfer my deposit to them but will not return it

Tom was a great salesman. He attended to all my needs and promptly made changes to the design as we were figuring out the layout of the building. I would highly recommend Tom to build your building and I would definitely be going back to him for any future projects.

I originally put a deposit on metal building from another company online. After a lot of back and forth with them not wanting to work with me on some modifications and then trying to charge me additional money for my permit required anchors. I fired that company and found Tom. I explained my special situation to him and he was great to work with. Not only did Tom help me out, I saved a little coin by purchasing with him. The installation went smoothly, I got the required anchoring I needed for my permit. Tom was available through the entire process, even when I called in the evening.

2 years later our building is as sturdy as the day it was built! Tom is a pleasure to work with and he and his crew did an amazing job. We are returning customers and are looking forward to an additional structure soon.

Tom was very responsive and ok to work with, Carolina carports who built the building and erects it not so much. You are dealing with Carolina carports after your deposit. It took 18 weeks for my 39x40 building to be put up and that's after me calling Carolina carports many times ( timeline is quite common for carolina carports unfortunately ). It went from 6-8 weeks at order to 8-10 weeks after my pad was complete to being built 18 weeks after continuing to call Carolina carports to get on their schedule. The crew did great work but I paid for 11' wall on my lean too and they ended up only being 10' 6.5" , which means my garage door i had would no longer fit. Do you research on Carolina carports as this is who will be building and erection your building.

Tom is very respectable and owns up to any mistake made. There was a communication problem between him and Carolina Carports but he made it right by giving a full refund. I decided to go with another company because my wait time went from 4-8 weeks to 13-17 weeks. Let's just say it took the wind out of my sail but at least he admitted the problem and gave me a full refund. No building but Tom was honest and for that he deserves a 5 star rating.
